Trashwise bags are extra thick, extra large, and 100% compostable. They work great for yard and food waste, and will biodegrade in any commercial or home compost environment. Although they look and feel like plastic they are made from plant-based, non-GMO materials. There are clear markings on each bag so they won’t be mistaken for plastic.
It should be noted that if you leave them outdoors, with compostable waste in them they will start to biodegrade and may tear. To solve this problem, I put my compost and yard waste into a reusable bag, then dump it into a Trashwise right before I put it out for pickup.
